What are the advantages of using an SSO connection?

With SSO, the management of user identities is delegated to other entities. As a result, it offers enhanced security by keeping identification information in just one place (at the IdP).

Find out more about the benefits of Single Sign-On (SSO) here.

1 - Simplifying the user experience

One of the main advantages of SSO is that it simplifies the login experience for users. Instead of having to memorize and enter multiple IDs and passwords to access different applications and services, users can use a single set of credentials to log in to all SSO-enabled systems.

2 - Save time and increase efficiency

By reducing the number of logins and authentications required, SSO saves users time. Rather than spending time entering credentials repeatedly, users can quickly access the applications and services they need, enabling them to concentrate more on their core tasks.

3 - Improved account security

SSO also helps to strengthen the security of users' online accounts. By using a single secure connection to access multiple systems, the risks associated with disclosure or exploitation of login credentials are reduced.

4 - Reduced password management problems

Users often struggle to manage multiple passwords for their different online accounts. With SSO, it is no longer necessary to memorize or store several passwords, which considerably reduces the problems associated with managing forgotten or lost passwords.
