Has it ever happened to you, as a Board participant, that you accidentally deleted an idea when the host wasn't available to retrieve it? Worry no more! You can now restore or permanently delete your ideas on your own. You're in full control of your contributions!

How does it work?

To access deleted ideas, click on "board view" at the bottom right of your screen, under the mini-board, and select "List view". Once in "List view", you'll find a "Deleted" tab in the top left-hand corner. Click on it to access deleted ideas - you'll see all the ideas that have been deleted from the Board.

This bin works differently depending on your account type:

  • As a participant with a PRO account, you can restore all the ideas in the recycle bin. However, you can only permanently delete your own ideas.

  • As a participant with a FREE account, you can restore and permanently delete only your own ideas.

💡 Reminder: Only ideas can be retrieved (with their color, dimensions, category, like...). Other objects (links, questions, shapes, icons, etc.) cannot be retrieved.

With the opening of access to deleted ideas to participants, new elements will be added to this functionality:

  • Improved restoration confirmation: A restoration confirmation banner ensures that ideas can be recovered easily and with confidence.

  • Greater clarity for final deletion: A tooltip appears when an idea is permanently deleted, reducing potential errors and ensuring that actions are better understood.

  • Mass deletion alert: A warning banner is displayed if an attempt is made to delete a large number of ideas, some of which do not belong to the participant, preventing accidental deletions and ensuring more accurate idea management.

These improvements offer more secure and efficient idea management, boosting participant confidence and optimising their experience.
