AI in Board is enriched with the arrival of a new feature: instant translation. Accelerate the collaboration of your international teams, by translating the texts and ideas of your Boards into more than a hundred languages! All in just a few clicks.
Have you ever needed to translate a Board piece by piece, constantly switching to a translation tool and copying and pasting repeatedly? With the new AI feature in Board, simplify the process by translating your texts directly within your whiteboard.
No need to juggle between different pages or limit yourself to a low number of characters: translation is now done within the Board. In addition, our AI is capable of processing requests of up to 50,000 characters, and translating from and into 135 languages!
This new feature helps you simplify your communication by eliminating language barriers, and allows all participants to express themselves, regardless of their native language.
How does it work?
Here’s how to use the translation feature:
Click on your idea to bring up the toolbar.
Select the Klaxoon AI button to open a drop-down list of features.
Choose "Translate." A new drop-down list will appear with four default languages: French, English, German, and Spanish.
The AI translates the text directly within the idea, making it accessible to all Board participants.
If you want to choose a different language, click on the "Other" button. You then have access to a list of 135 additional languages with an input field to filter faster. The last language you used in the "Other" list will be saved as a favorite and will therefore appear above all other languages.
You can also translate groups of ideas. Simply select everything you want to translate and follow the same steps outlined earlier. Once the translation is complete, confirmation or cancel buttons will appear below the selection.
💡 Please note: To translate a Zone, you must select the elements that make up the Zone. The dimension and categories of the idea are not part of the automatically translated elements.
