How do I transfer an eShop subscription?

As an eShop supervisor, you can transfer your console administration rights and subscription management to another user in your organization.


How to proceed


You wish to transfer your subscription to another user

To do so, you must first ensure that the target user is part of your organization. If not, invite him/her to join your organization. See article: Add a new user in your Console

Next, connect to your organization's administration interface to complete the subscription transfer:

  • Click on the profile icon at top right

  • Administration

  • Navigate to the Users tab. Here you'll find the list of users belonging to your team.

  • Select the "3 dots" menu to the right of the user to transfer the subscription.

  • WARNING: if the target user had no license and you have no more available licenses, you will lose your license to this user.

Rules following transfer

  1. The target user already has a license in your organization (PRO account) -> I no longer have access to the console, nor to subscription management. I retain a Pro license

  2. The target user does not have a license in your organization (FREE license) -> I no longer have access to the Administration, nor to subscription management. I keep a PRO license if one is available in my organization. Otherwise my account is downgraded to FREE in the organization.

  3. A confirmation email is sent to both parties
