Creating a Page

Using the Page feature, it is possible to incorporate text, images, and videos into the following activities :

  • Memo

  • Presentation (in Session)

  • Adventure (as an introduction to each step)

  • Mission (as an introduction to each step)

There are various benefits to creating content pages using this Klaxoon feature:

  • Optimized responsive display for all screens (both TV and smartphone)

  • Note taking

  • Search engine content indexing

To create a page

1 In the editing screen for a Memo or Session, click on ADD PAGE

The page selection tool is displayed:

Reusing existing material

Using the page picking tool, it is possible to reuse content that you have previously created for another activity.
Just check the boxes of the pages you require and then click on Submit


2 Click on CREATE A NEW PAGE

The editing tool is displayed:

1 Cancel

To cancel a page you are creating (your changes will be lost).

2 Add an image

To insert an image from the file picker.

3 Add a video

To insert a video:

  • (recommended) copy/paste a link to a YouTube, Dailymotion, or Vimeo video

  • (Only for broadcasting using the Klaxoon Box) Click on 'browse' to select an MP4 file stored on your device.

4 Bold

Select your text and then click here to make it bold.

5 Italics

Select your text and then click here to change it to italics.

6 Text style

Select your text and then click here to select a text style: Normal, Heading 1, or Heading 2

7 Gray

Select your text and then click here to make it grey.

8 Quote

Select your text and then click here to switch the paragraph to quotation mode (italics and tabulation).

9 Numbered list

Select your text and then click here to create a numbered list.

10 Bulleted list

Select your text and then click here to create a bulleted list.

11 Full screen

Displays the text editor in full-screen mode.

12 Resource name

A resource may be a document mentioned on the page or content used to examine the topic in greater depth.

Enter the name of the external resource (maximum 40 characters).

13 Link to the resource

Copy/paste the link to the external resource.

14 Add a resource

For adding a link to an external resource.

15 Delete the resource

Deletes the resource on the appropriate line.

16 Save
