Are you looking to differentiate between the outline and the shape itself when adding shapes to your Board ? Well, now you can!

This new update on Board brings an even more advanced visual dimension. From now on, you have the ability to differentiate between the outline color and the fill color. This enhancement opens up new possibilities for visual management: representation of complex diagrams, modeling of business processes, and effective coordination of collaborative work.

Thanks to this update, you'll be able to do a number of things:

  • Differentiate between contour and fill

  • Make the outline of a shape disappear and keep only the fill

  • Make the shape transparent (without contour or fill)

How does it work?

When you're on your Board, at the bottom left of your screen you'll see a toolbar. Choose the "Shape" tool, or click the S key on your keyboard.

Once you've selected the tool, create your shape. A new toolbar will appear (click on the shape if it doesn't appear), and you'll notice two colored circles, giving you the option to select the colors of your choice.

💡 Please note: The shape contour retains its customizable properties (style, thickness, extremity)

The CTRL+O or CMD+O shortcut is still available, and can be used to fill or empty an object's fill color.

This feature has been available since May 27, 2024 for all Klaxoon PRO users. If you'd like to find out more about Board's features, please visit our Help Center. If you have any questions, please contact our Support team via Chat.
