At a glance, you can easily see where your colleagues are on your Board with their cursors! No more simultaneous edits, now you can also see in real time who is editing an idea or text.

1) Cursor in Board

Now, when you are working with several people on a Board at the same time, you can see the cursors of other people who are connected.

On the cursor, you will find:

  • the first name and the 1st letter of the participant's last name

  • A colorful arrow, with a choice of 95 colors. The randomly assigned color changes with each new connection to the Board.

In Presentation mode, only the animator's cursor is visible, identified by a blue ring around the profile picture. This ensures that participants stay focused on the items presented.

This new option is enabled by default for everyone, but each participant can choose to disable it if they wish.

Where can I turn this feature on or off?

  • Click on the icon with the two arrows at the bottom right of your screen to adjust the settings of the current Board.

  • To apply your preferences to all your Boards, use the "Set My Default Preferences" button.

💡 Please note: when you turn off the cursor display, participants no longer see it, but you also can't see each other's cursors.

2) "In Editing" Indicator

Track Board changes in real time: whenever a participant edits a text on the Board, whether it's an idea, a text object, a shape, or an image, you'll be notified by their avatar and an animation.

If two people start writing about an idea or text at the same time, only the image of the person who started typing first will be visible.

These new features enrich collaboration on Board thanks to better visibility on everyone's actions and more comfort for the facilitators.

These features are available since December 17, 2024 for all Klaxoon users. If you have any questions, please feel free to visit our Help Center or contact our Support team via the "Need Help?" button.
