Since 2021, the integration between Klaxoon's Board and Jira allows you to harness the power of visual management in all your projects. Today, this integration is evolving to give you even more flexibility, clarity, and security.
1. Improved visualization of Jira ideas on Board
When you import a Jira ticket, the ideas created are now always in square format. In addition, a white background will now appear on your existing or newly created Jira ideas. This new design allows for more readability, through a better visual distribution of the following information:
The Jira icon
Priority
an indication of whether or not a description is present.
The person's first and last name assigned on the ticket
The ticket ID and its type in the header
And ticket status
For a more secure use, the person who imported the Jira ticket is now the only one who can edit the title of the ticket from the idea of the Board. This avoids any risk of unintentional alteration of the original ticket, and misunderstandings about who made the changes to the ticket history in Jira.
The rest of the idea: color, category, dimension, size, format... may however be modified by any participant of the Board.
In addition, the old "Open in Jira" button has been moved to the context menu, making navigation even more intuitive.
2. Collaborative Import/Export
From now on, the co-hosts and participants of a Board with a Klaxoon PRO license can manage the import and export of Jira tickets, while respecting the parameters defined by the main animator. Board preparation thus gains in speed and efficiency, especially for the use of PI Planning and Retrospectives.
Please note:
Automatic import remains reserved for Board owners, while co-hosts and participants can perform basic imports or use JQL queries according to the defined permissions.
The import can be limited to animators only if necessary. To do this, the owner of the Board must go to the settings, and open the participant settings.
3. Disconnect
It is quite possible to log out of your Jira account directly from Klaxoon at any time. Go to your profile menu and then to the settings.
This feature has been available since January 9, 2025 for Klaxoon PRO users who have a Jira license.
