When working with Klaxoon, it can be useful to start from an existing activity to reuse it or reset it. You have two options: duplicate or reset an activity. Learn more about the differences and recommended use cases for each of these actions here.

Duplicate an activity

Duplication allows you to create an independent copy of your activity.
This allows you to retain the content and structure of the original activity without the contributions of the participants.

To remember:

Duplication creates a new activity, separate from the original.

  • Activity settings, questions, media, or settings are retained.

  • No contributions (answers, ideas, results) are copied.

  • The new activity can be modified without impacting the original.

Example of use:
Want to use the same workshop or quiz template for a new team or session? Duplicate the activity to save time and customize it to your needs.

Reset an activity

The reset allows the participants' contributions on an existing activity to be reset , while maintaining its structure and parameters.

To remember:

The reset erases any responses, ideas, or results that have already been collected.

  • Content, questions, and configuration remain unchanged.

  • The activity retains the same access link and invitation history.

  • Ideal for relaunching the activity with the same group or in a similar context.

Example of use:
Want to reuse an activity with the same group of participants for a new session, while starting from a blank page? Reset the activity to clear old contributions.
