The "Ranking" question in polls allows each participant to order a list of proposals according to their preferences. This collective ranking is then transformed into points, for a simple and visual analysis.
How are points awarded?
The point system is defined as follows:
The proposal ranked last always receives 2 points, regardless of the number of proposals.
Each higher-ranked proposal receives 1 point more than the one placed just below it.
For example, if you have 5 proposals, the first will receive 6 points, the second 5 points, the third 4, the fourth 3, and the last 2 points.
The final score of each proposal is the sum of all points received from all participants.
Visualization of results
The results of the ranking are illustrated by a "Spider" graph (or radar), which allows you to visualize at a glance the group's preferences and compare the scores of each proposal.
To remember:
The ranking makes it easy to prioritize group options.
The points system is progressive: the better placed a proposal is, the more points it receives.
The "Spider" graph makes analyzing results quick and intuitive.
