We’re excited to introduce a new feature in Board: Tables!
Whether you need to structure your actions, assign roles, or summarize a project, you can now create unlimited tables in your workspace, customize the number of rows, columns, and even the background color. It’s the perfect way to structure your ideas visually the way you want it!
Save time and gain clarity by inserting a resizable table in just two clicks. It will appear instantly, ready to be adjusted to your needs.
How does it work?
To get started, click the three-dot "Insert content" button in the toolbar, then select "Table" from the Insert category. Your cursor will change: simply click anywhere on your Board to insert a table (3 columns x 3 rows by default).
Advanced customization
Personalize your table’s appearance, adjust border color, background color, thickness, and opacity to match your preferences.
You can add rows and columns with a single click, thanks to the “+” buttons located on the right and bottom of the table. Delete rows and columns by double-clicking inside a cell.
You can also merge cells to create headers or summary areas, and enter or edit plain text in each cell to organize your information exactly as you like.
Move and resize rows, columns, or the entire table to fit your needs.
What’s coming next for Tables in Board
This first release delivers on a top user request: creating and customizing tables directly in Board. And we’re just getting started!
Over the coming months, expect continuous improvements to make your experience even more powerful and flexible. Upcoming enhancements include vertical text alignment in cells, the ability to move rows and columns, insert Board objects directly into cells, and reposition entire tables with their content anywhere on your Board. We’re also working on smoother workflows, like importing data from Excel via copy-paste.
Your feedback is crucial, share your thoughts to help us shape the next iterations!
This feature is available since 11/04/2025 for Klaxoon users. Need help or want to learn more? Check our Help Center or contact our Support Team.
