Improved Image Handling
Original quality storage: When you upload an image to Board (either as a Board image or an idea image), it’s now stored in its original quality, no more compression, loss, or renaming. This means you can download the exact original file at any time.
Higher display resolution: Images are displayed on Board at a much higher resolution, with less compression. This results in clearer text and finer details, making your visuals more readable and professional.
Maximum image definition: Images added to Board are now limited to a maximum of 32 megapixels. If you try to upload an image larger than this, you’ll receive an error message and the upload will be blocked. (For example: a 10,000 x 2,000 px image = 20MP is allowed, but an 8,000 x 5,000 px image = 40MP is not.)
File size limits: No change to existing size limits: 50 MB for PRO accounts, 5 MB for FREE accounts.
New Image Features
.webp support: You can now insert or paste images in the .webp format directly into Board.
Quick image download: Download any image (Board image or idea image) directly from the 3-dot menu, without needing to open it in fullscreen.
Drag & Drop improvements: When dragging and dropping one or more images onto Board, they are now added as Board images in a cascading layout (not as ideas), similar to using the “Add > Image” menu.
Coming Soon: Enhanced Text and Sticky Notes
Sticky note alignment: Vertical and horizontal alignment options are now available for stickies.
Text formatting in stickies: Add bold, italics, underline, or strikethrough to text in stickies.
Handwritten font: A new handwritten font is available for stickies.
More font choices: Five new fonts have been added to text objects.
Multi-edit for text objects: Edit multiple text objects at once for faster updates.
The image enhancement features are available since November 6th, 2025 for Klaxoon users.
