Jira's integration with Board allows you to centralize the management of your projects. With rich visualization, you can view and edit tickets without ever leaving your Board interface.

Here's how tickets and possible interactions look like.

1 - Viewing tickets

When you click on an imported Jira issue in your Board, a modal window opens instantly. This view is synchronized with all participants in the session, ensuring that everyone is watching the same information at the same time.

This centralized interface gives you access to the essential fields of the ticket:

  • General information: Project, Incident Type, Summary.

  • Aftercare: Assigned to (Manager), Priority.

  • Estimates: Estimated Effort Points and Actual Effort Points.

  • Additional Details: Creator, date of creation and other relevant fields.

Good to know: This visualization does not require a personal Jira license. If the organization allows Jira, all members (Klaxoon PRO or FREE users) can view these details, promoting transparency for the entire team.

2 - Editing tickets from Board

If you have the necessary rights, you can update the information directly from the modal, without switching to the Jira interface.

How to edit a ticket:

  1. Open the ticket in Board.

  2. Click the Edit button that appears in the window.

  3. Change the desired values.

Editable fields include:

  • Summary

  • The status

  • The manager

  • Priority

  • Effort points (estimated and actual)

Any changes are instantly reflected in Jira and show the name of the person who made the change for accurate tracking.

3 - Access conditions and prerequisites

Access to the features depends on your Klaxoon and Jira license type.
