A virtual whiteboard for posting and organizing ideas.

- Board is an all-in-one tool that facilitates visual collaboration in a simple, participative and inclusive way. It also features, Live, an integrated video conferencing tool.
  
  Board brings together all of Klaxoon's experience and presents a new visual standard to work effectively as a team, at the office, at home or on-the-go.
  
  You can organize all types of content visually in one space: text, weblinks, images, drawings, sketches and Excel files. Organize them as you want with the easy to use toolbar: shapes, colors, lines, patterns, categories and more!
  
  To save time, Board has integrated a ready to use template library. These methods are inspired by practices from our user community and popular agile methods. Use them to discover some new methods or personalize them to your specific needs.

- At the Klaxoon Home, click on then

  You can also create a Board from the animation screen of a Session

  Enter a name for the Board (250 characters maximum), add an image, and click Create
  
  Where does an Activity image appear?
  In the Home or in a Network, an Activity appears as an illustrated insert.
  When you create an Activity, you can choose an image stored on your device or a photo taken on the spot. If you don't choose one, the image used will be your default profile picture.
  You can then replace it in the Studio with an image from the Storage space.
  
  The Board animation screen appears:
  
  On the top right toolbar, click on Options
  
  The Board options are displayed:
  
  In options, click on Participants settings
  
  Select the mode of your choice:
  - Facilitator-controlled: The facilitator controls the placement of ideas on the board. Participants cannot change or move items.
  - Free: Participants can send ideas and move them on the board. You will then be able to choose the elements they can act on with the options modify locked objects, modify drawings, images, shapes and modify the ideas of others.

  This is where you set what participants see:
  - Show Board View / Show List View / Show Column View: Choose which view(s) to make available to participants
  - Show snapshots: Participants will be able to view and download screenshots taken by all participants
  - Show who sent the idea: Everyone will be able to see the identity of the participant who sent the selected idea

  In the Participants' features box:
  
  This is where you set up the participants' actions:
  - Create a Live: Participants will be able to start a Live at any time to hear and see other participants
  - Synchronize the Board: Participants will be able to present what they are watching on the Board. If a synchronization is already in progress, it will be interrupted.
  - Take Screenshots: Participants will be allowed to take screenshots of the Board

- Once the Board is launched, the facilitator accesses the following interface to sort and annotate the ideas posted by the participants:

  Sharing option
  
  Share the access code with participants so they can go directly to the Board. Click on it to display it in full screen, along with the entire invitation link and QR code. It is also possible to invite other participants from this window. Click on the lock to secure the Board by preventing access via the code (access only by email invitation)
  
  Participants list
  
  Display participants, invite a new one, block them, switch them to facilitator. The black dot indicates the number of participants.
  
  Download
  
  Download your Board data in different types of formats (image, PDF, zip, Excel, csv, Klaxoon. With "Capture", save an image of the board in its current state and share it in PNG format via the gallery.

  Colors
  Modify, caption, add or delete colors (50 maximum). Discover how in video: Manage colors

  Modify, add or delete dimensions (3 maximum)
  
  Smart Zones
  Display a pop-up with options to simplify the grouping of ideas by different criteria (categories, dimensions, colors, number of Likes, etc...)

  Add or modify the objectives of the Board
  
  Background
  - Show/hide the background image
  - Activate/deactivate night mode (the board becomes black)
  - Adjust the size of the background image
  Participant Mode
  
  Select participants rights :
  - Controled mode: Participants can send ideas. Ideas will be stored in an inbox. The facilitator can then move them to the Board
  - Free modes: Participants can send ideas and move them on the Board; possibility to allow them to modify locked items and/or modify drawings, images, shapes and/or modify others' ideas
  Display
  - Participants' views: manage participant access to the different Board views, to captures taken, and to the identity of the participant who sent an idea
  - Participants' features: Allow participants to create a Live, synchronize their view and/or take captures
  Reset
  
  Display a pop-up with options to simplify the deletion of ideas or annotations
  
  Call
  
  Launch a Live audio and video of 5, 15, 30 minutes renewable or infinte time, or a video conference (Meet, Skype, Teams, Webex or Zoom). It is also possible to share your screen.
  
  Synchronize
  
  Enable simultaneous display on participants' terminals so they can follow your Board presentation

  Ask a question.
  
  Time
  
  Timer : Display the Timer / Countdown
  
  Pause : To block all activity on participants' terminals; click the play arrow to unblock the terminals.
  
  Update Smart Zones
  
  Once Smart Zones are enabled in "Options", this button allows you to integrate new ideas on the Board into idea groups
  
  Contextual buttons
  
  Different icons appear depending on the type of object selected:
  - Questions: ask a question
  - Heart: like the idea
  - Pencil: edit the idea
  - Eye: see the idea in a larger view (drawing or image)
  - Play: create a slideshow with images of selected ideas (visible in sync)
  - Label: assign a category to the idea
  - Palette: change the color of the idea

  Drag and drop an idea to move it, and play with its size; double-click on an idea to modify it

  - Share : copy the link to the idea
  - Duplicate : create a copy
  - Size : change the size
  - Planes : move the object to the foreground or backwards
  - Arrow : send the idea back to the Inbox
  - Trash : delete the idea

  Display the Inbox, the idea selection tool that offers different filters:
  - Search by keywords
  - By colors
  - By category
  - By number of hearts
  It is in the Inbox that the ideas of the participants arrive in "Facilitator-controlled" mode. And it is always possible to place ideas in the Inbox to be processed later, for example.

  Show or hide the vertical list of ideas in the Inbox; using the selection rectangle, you can move several ideas at once.

  - Eraser: erase objects with a click

  - from csv: add a list of ideas at once (one idea per box)
  - files: any kind of file can be put in an idea
  - from Jira: add ideas from Jira tickets

- Once connected to a Board, the participant can toggle between the send idea interface and the board, to organize the ideas. Their interface depends on the rights granted by the facilitator.

  Enter text, draw a picture, or import a photo.

  Enable ideas to be entered in text format.

  Enable the drawing function.

  Select an image from your terminal.
  
  Category
  
  Assign a category to your idea (if the facilitator has enabled the option).

  Remaining number of characters
  
  Ideas must be no longer than 500 characters.

  Choose a new color to add to the palette.

- Smart Zones allows you to group ideas by different criteria (categories or dimensions). You can go further by sorting ideas by color, date or number of likes.
  
  The objective is to organize your ideas on the Board according to the defined criteria, without having to go through the Column view.

  Then click on Smart Zones
  
  The Smart Zones editing screen is displayed:
  
  Once you have created your categories and/or dimensions, activate the Smart Zones and click on Save.

  Refresh Smart Zones
  
  Once Smart Zones are activated, in , click on the Zones button on the left side of your Board which allows you to integrate new ideas to existing zones on the Board.
  
  When you deactivate Smart Zones, ideas do not return to their original location.
- The 3 dots menu contains the management features of your Board. It varies according to the status of your Board.

- Klaxoon’s Zoom integration allows you to create Zoom meetings inside your Klaxoon
  Board.
  
  Add the Zoom feature to your company
  
  Log into Klaxoon as an admin and go to Manage my Team and select the organization tab.
  Check Zoom if needed into Manage video conference > Video conference provider. Save it.
  
  Approve the Zoom integration
  
  Into one of your Boards click the LIVE button and then
  
  Sign in with your Zoom credentials.
  
  Click Authorize to allow Klaxoon to connect to your Zoom account.
