The Klaxoon platform is constantly evolving and following many requests, you can now build your activities together! This evolution allows your team to create and enrich activities together, in a simple, fluid and efficient way.
1) Role of the co-author
As a co-author, you can now collaborate with your colleagues, view the steps already created, the questions added. This editing mode is available for:
Session
Quiz
Survey
Adventure
Memo
Mission
Board
You can then take over and contribute to the Activity by adding your elements such as quiz questions, adding a presentation slide in Session or editing a Memo.
The co-author has the same rights as the owner of the activity, with the exception of the deletion or transfer of the activity. Plus, you can now invite co-authors after sharing, giving you more flexibility to collaborate.
2) Invite co-authors
The "Add co-authors" button is now accessible at any time, even before the activity is shared. To use it, simply go to the activity preparation page, click on the three dots next to the "Share" button, and then select "Add co-authors". A sharing modal will open, allowing you to invite a collaborator by email or by name and directly assign them the role of co-author.
On the Board side, you can find this button by clicking on the 3 small dots next to the name of your activity and then "Add co-authors"
Once the invitation is sent, the co-author joins the activity:
For Boards, you go directly to the Board to co-build.
For other types of activities, you enter the edit page to add or edit content.
The activity will then be available in your workspace
💡 Please note: you have the option of inviting employees to co-construct your activity via the sharing windows. To resume the changes, it will be necessary to reset your activity.
You now have the possibility to collaborate simultaneously on the editing of your activity, as all changes are immediately reflected on each participant's screen. However, if two people edit the same item, such as the title, it's possible that some changes will be overwritten. Most elements will be updated in real time with all publishers, similar to a Board.
3) Change in the sharing modal
Regarding role management, the organization is also changing. In the "Share" button, the role of "host" disappears to make way for "owner" or "co-author". The list of "Participants" becomes a list of "Users".
Real-time co-construction provides more flexible project management. Each member can intervene at any time, even after sharing, facilitating the distribution of tasks and strengthening the autonomy of the teams. The result: activities created faster and more collaboratively.
