TL;DR
Launch a live question from Live Questions by clicking new live question and selecting a question type. It opens full-screen and appears on the Session activity for participants. You can minimize it and reopen it later, or close it to stop responses and save results.
Overview
Use live questions to collect responses from session participants in real time. When you launch a live question, it opens in full-screen mode and appears on the Session activity as a pink box for participants.
How to Launch a Live Question
- In the Live Questions box, click new live question.
- Select the question you want to launch.
The question dashboard opens in full-screen mode. Participants can also see it on the Session activity as a pink box.
Manage a Live Question
Minimize a live question
Click Minimize to return to your Session dashboard without closing the live question.
Participants can still respond while the question is minimized. To reopen the results screen, click the pink banner on the Session activity.
Close a live question
Click Close to end the live question.
After you close it, participants can no longer respond.
You can also see:
- Number of votes
- Number of voters compared with the total number of session participants
