How to Create an Adventure?

TL;DR

Create an adventure from home, customize the settings and mode, add up to 10 steps with questions, and then share it.

Overview

Use an adventure to guide participants through a series of steps and questions. You can customize the settings, add steps, and then share the activity.

Create an Adventure

  1. In Home, click + New 1.
  2. Select Adventure 2.
  3. Enter a name for the adventure 3.
  4. Add an image, if needed 4.
  5. Click Create 5.

Edit Adventure Settings

In the Settings section, you can:

  • Add objectives to show participants a description at the start
  • Select a Theme
  • Turn the Leaderboard on or off
  • Set the number of Points available per question

In the Mode section, you can choose how participants move through the adventure:

  • Replay option: Let participants retake the adventure to improve their score
  • Display correct answers: Show correct answers after each question or at the end
  • Random order of answer proposals: Shuffle answer choices for each participant

Adventure Standalone

Adventure in Session

Both Standalone and Session-based adventures offer the following three modes:

  • Free / Classic
    • How it works: Participants complete the adventure at their own pace and move through questions freely without strict progression rules.
    • Best for: Standard, self-guided adventure experiences.
       
  • Question by Question / Evaluation
    • How it works: Participants answer one question at a time. Optional evaluation rules can require a correct answer to unlock the next question, forcing re-tries on incorrect responses.
    • Best for: Learning, training, or certification scenarios.
       
  • Question by Question / Host Control
    • How it works: Participants view one question at a time, but progression is driven entirely by the host, who advances the group together.
    • Best for: Live, instructor-led sessions.

Add Steps

  1. In the Steps 1 section, click Add a step 2.
  2. Enter a step name 3.
  3. Click Create 4.
  4. You can rearrange the steps of the adventure by clicking and dragging the drag tool.Rearrange the steps of the adventure.gif
  5. Add a page by clicking Add page in Settings if you want to introduce the step.
  6. Add questions in the Questions section.

Note

  • You can't resize or recolor text inside an Adventure's built-in content blocks. If you need a legal notice, disclaimer, or intro message to appear before your first question, add it as its own Introduction page/message step at the start of the Adventure instead. That step supports text (with two size options), an image, or a video.
  • You can add up to 10 steps.

Share Your Adventure

  1. Click Share.
  2. Choose how you want to share the activity.

The activity dashboard opens after you share it.

Note

  • Adventure names can be up to 80 characters.
  • The Replay option is unavailable if the adventure is added to a session.

FAQ

Can an Adventure Be Restarted?

It depends on how the Adventure was created:

  • You can’t restart Adventures created within Sessions.
  • Participants can restart Adventures launched outside of Sessions.

How Can I Consult the Answers to the Questions After I’ve Taken Part?

After the Adventure ends, go to the home page and click the activity you want. Then click Replay. From there, you can replay the Adventure or open the results.
