How to Create a Survey?

TL;DR

Create a survey from home by clicking New > Survey, entering a name, and clicking Create. Then set participant permissions in Mode, add or import questions in Questions, and save your changes. You can add up to 20 questions and make questions mandatory. When your survey is ready, click Share, choose how you want to share it, and click Save and share to open the activity dashboard.

Overview

Create a survey to collect answers from participants. You can add up to 20 questions, set participant permissions, and launch the survey when it’s ready.

Create a Survey

In Home, click + New.
Select Survey 1.
Enter a survey name 2.
Click Create 3.

Note

Survey names can contain up to 80 characters.

Set Permissions

In the Mode section, choose participant permissions:

Allow modifications: Participants can edit answers after they submit them.
Show results: Participants can view results after they answer.

Add Questions

In Questions, import existing questions by clicking Import questions 1 or add a new one.
Choose the type of question 2 you want to create and click Add 3.
You can change the order of the questions by clicking and dragging them.
Enter the question title, and click Create 4.
Under Choices, add answer options, and click Save 5.

Note

You can add up to 20 questions.
You can make the question mandatory to answer by turning on the Mandatory answer checkbox

Launch the Survey

Click Share to launch the survey.
Choose how you want to share the activity and click Save and share.
You can share it:
1. With people by name, email address, or network
2. Within a network
3. With an access code
4. With a QR code
5. By copying the link
