An article lets you share text, media, and links in a Network. You can edit or manage it from the header, see views, and add comments. Comments appear newest first, and authors can edit or delete their own comments.
Overview
An article is a page you can use to share content in a Network. It can include text, an image or video, and links to external content. This article explains the main parts of an article and how comments work.
Article Header
At the top of an article, you’ll see the title and article options.

The title is clickable and editable 1.

The caret button 2 menu lets you:
- Edit the article
- Delete the article
- Mute notifications
- Add the article to favorites
For an activity article, the header also includes:

Share 3: Opens the share modal
- Statistics 4: Opens the article with the statistics modal open
Article Content
An article can contain 1:
- Text
- An image or video
- Links to external content
A few display rules also apply 2:
- If there’s no text, the image is centered in a single article or activity article.
- Publication dates and comment dates use the same date format as your user space.
- Everyone can see the number of views.
Comments
You can use the comment field to add comments to an article.
- Comments appear from newest to oldest.
- When you hover over your comment, a menu appears.
- That menu lets the comment author edit or delete the comment.
