TL;DR
From any Board, open the Export menu (caret next to the Board title) to export content.
Picture/PDF: Capture a visual snapshot of all or part of the Board for sharing or presentations.
ZIP/Excel/CSV: Export all ideas as a spreadsheet (one idea per row with details like author, text, category, color, likes, etc.) for filtering, analysis, or reporting outside Klaxoon.
Overview
You can export all or part of your Klaxoon Board to share content, back it up, or analyze ideas in a spreadsheet. Use image or PDF exports to capture a visual snapshot of the Board, or export ideas to a .zip, Excel, or CSV file for deeper analysis.
Access the Export Menu
- Open the Board you want to export.
- Click on the caret icon 1 (arrow) next to the Board’s title.
- Select the Export 2 from the dropdown.
Export Your Board as a Picture or PDF
- In the Export menu, choose Picture or PDF 3.

(If prompted) Adjust export options such as:
- Area to capture
- Orientation or layout
- Confirm your export and download the file from your browser.

Use image or PDF exports when you need a quick visual snapshot of your Board to share in presentations or reports.
Export Ideas as a Spreadsheet
- Open the Export menu on your Board.
- Select ZIP, Excel, or CSV export.

Download the exported file.
Depending on the option you choose, you’ll get a .zip, .xlsx, or .csv file that includes a spreadsheet of all ideas on the Board. Each idea appears as a row, with the following columns:- Firstname
- Lastname
- Type
- Text
- Categories
- Dimensions
- Color Hexa
- Color Label
- Likes
- Created
- File

Use the spreadsheet export when you want to filter, sort, or report on ideas outside Klaxoon.
