Overview
You can adjust the opacity of shapes and other objects on a Board to customize their appearance. Opacity settings are available from the color menu and can be applied to shapes, connectors, drawings, sketches, and SVG icons.
How to Change the Opacity of Objects on a Board
You can modify opacity for:
- Geometric shapes
- Connectors
- Free hand drawings
- Sketches
- SVG icons
Adjust the Opacity
- Select the object, click the Update border style and/or fill color 1 icon in the context menu.
-
Use the Opacity slider to adjust transparency 2.
Note:
- You can drag the slider freely.
- Select predefined steps (from 10% to 100% in 10% increments).
Special Case: Shapes
For Board shapes, the opacity of the border and fill can be adjusted independently. This allows you to apply different transparency levels to each element.
Note:

-
The selected opacity is maintained when duplicating objects or exporting/importing Boards.
