Wondering how to import your Miro boards into Klaxoon? We tell you everything!

This feature is currently available as a private Beta.

Here are the steps for importing a Miro board:

1 - Export your Miro board

Discover the different exports available from Miro.

Export all the frames as PDF

Each frame becomes a page, with two qualities available:

  • ‘Best quality": Choose this editable format for lossless zoom and optimum quality.

  • ‘Small file size": Choose this option to reduce the file size, but the elements will no longer be editable and the quality will be reduced.

From Miro, click on the ‘3 dots’ menu, then ‘Board’, ‘Export’ and finally ‘Save as PDF’.

By default, the file will be exported in ‘Small file size’, so please select the ‘Best quality’ field.

Exporting a selection as a PDF (vector quality)

Select an area of the Board (frame, elements, etc.). The PDF of a page retains vector quality, allowing lossless zooming.

From Miro, click on the ‘3 dots’ menu, then ‘Board’, ‘Export’ and finally ‘Save as image’.

By default, the file will be exported in minimum quality, so select the ‘Vector’ field.

Export a selection as a PDF (JPG quality)

Select an area of the Board. The PDF of a page contains a compressed JPG image (possible loss of quality when zoomed in). Useful for quick sharing where size is more important than accuracy.

⚠️ Please note that this format will not allow you to modify the content once it has been imported into Klaxoon Board.

2 - Import your Miro file

Click on the ‘+ New’ button at the top left. At the bottom of the banner

Then add the file you want to import.

3 - Adapt and collaborate

Once your Miro board has been imported into Klaxoon, you can adapt it to your needs. Add interactive elements, use Klaxoon's collaboration tools to discuss and work together in real time.

💡Additional Tips:

  • If your Miro board is very complex, it may be better to export it in several parts to facilitate import into Klaxoon.

  • Make sure all participants have access to the Klaxoon board for seamless collaboration.
