TL;DR:
Add high-quality images to your Board by dragging and dropping, using the Image option, or copying and pasting. Images stay in their original format (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP) and must be under 32 MP and within your account’s size limit.

Overview
You can add images to your Board to illustrate ideas, documents, and presentations. Images are now stored in their original quality, so you can display and download them without loss or extra compression.
Image Quality and Limits
- Images are stored in their original state (no compression, no renaming).
- Images display in higher resolution for better readability.
- You can download the original file at any time.

Maximum resolution: 32 megapixels (MP)
- Example: 10,000 × 200 px (2 MP) is accepted.
- Example: 8,000 × 5,000 px (40 MP) is rejected.

Maximum file size:
- 50 MB for PRO accounts
- 5 MB for FREE accounts
- Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP
Note:
If you try to import an image larger than 32 MP, you’ll see an error message and the import will be canceled.
How to Import an Image Into a Board
By Drag & Drop
- On your computer, select the image file you want to add.
- Drag the file directly onto the Board canvas.

Drop it on the Board.
The image appears as an image object on the Board (not inside an idea).
From the Toolbar
- Open your Board.
- Click the three-dot menu 1 in the Board toolbar.
- Select Image 2 from the menu.
- Browse your files and select the image you want to upload.

Confirm the Upload.
By Copy and Paste

Copy an image from your computer or a web page.
- On Windows: Ctrl + C
- On Mac: Cmd + C
- Go to your Board.

Paste the image.
- On Windows: Ctrl + V
- On Mac: Cmd + V
The image appears directly on the Board canvas.
