TL;DR:

With a Pro account, you can export activity results at any time in formats like CSV, XLSX, ZIP, PDF, and KLX. Available options depend on the activity type, and ZIP exports include participant and feedback data with fields such as progression, score, dates, rating, and comments.

Overview

With a Pro account, you can export individual activity results at any time, even if the activity is still in progress. Available export formats depend on whether you’re working in a Board or a Quiz.

How to Export Results From an Activity

  1. Open the activity you want to export.
  2. Click the Exports icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. Choose the format you want.

Note: 
In a Board activity, click the caret icon 1 next to the board title in the upper-left corner, then select Export 2  from the drop-down menu.

Export options for Board

From a Board, you can export your activity in these formats 3:

  • Picture: Download a snapshot of your Board in PNG format.
  • PDF: Download your Board in PDF format.
  • Excel: Download the list of ideas in XLSX format.
  • CSV: Download the list of ideas in CSV format.
  • ZIP: Download the list of ideas in XLSX or CSV format, along with images in PNG format, bundled in a ZIP file.
  • PDF report: Download a PDF report that includes all screenshots you took.
  • Word report: Download a Word report that you can edit and customize.
  • Klaxoon format (.klx): Download the Board and its content in KLX format so you can import it into another account. This file type can only be opened in Klaxoon.
  • Zones: Export data from specific zones you created on the Board.
  • Snapshot: Export current view as an image format to gallery.

From a Quiz, you can export your activity in these formats:

  • Excel: Download participation results in XLSX format.
  • CSV: Download participation results in CSV format.
  • ZIP: Download participation results in XLSX or CSV format in a ZIP file.
  • Klaxoon format: Download the activity and its content in KLX format so you can import it into another account. This file type can only be opened in Klaxoon.
  • PDF report: Download the activity report in PDF format.

ZIP Export Fields for Klaxoon Activities

When you export a Klaxoon activity as a ZIP file, the download includes activity data in both CSV and XLSX formats. These files help you track participant engagement and learning outcomes.

The ZIP file includes:

  • participants.csv
  • participants.xlsx

  • Feedback files for the activity in CSV and XLSX format.

The fields are:

  • Join at: The date and time when the participant joined the Board for the first time.
  • Last join at: The date and time when the participant last joined the Board.
  • First action date: The date and time of the participant’s first action in the activity.
  • Last action date: The date and time of the participant’s most recent action in the activity.
  • Progression: The participant’s completion progress in the activity.
  • Success rate: The participant’s percentage of correct answers or successful actions.
  • Score: The participant’s total score for the activity.
  • Replay: The number of times the participant replayed the activity.
  • Points: The total number of points the participant earned.
  • Rating: The rating submitted in feedback.
  • Comment: The comment submitted in feedback.

The available fields depend on the activity type.
