Overview
The dashboard for a memo launched in a session shows participants’ progress in real time, along with completed pages and question results.
Use the Memo Dashboard
After you launch a memo in a session, you can use the dashboard controls below.
Launch a memo by selecting the memo you want from the Activities menu in the left panel.
Participants
See the list of connected participants of the session.
Use Manage participants to:
- Add participants by name, email address, or network
- Assign session moderators
Note
You can remove a participant from the list. Their activity data stays saved, and they can rejoin later.
Manage your time
Use the stopwatch to track elapsed time or the timer to set a time limit.You can also:
- Start a Stopwatch
- Set a Timer
- Take a Break by pausing the session
- Use Heads up! to get participants’ attention
Export
Export session content in ZIP or KLX format, or request a PDF report.
Unlock pages
Show all pages and questions in the memo before all participants finish. Participants can continue exploring the memo at their own pace.
Note
Before unlocking the pages of the memo, the author can see participant’s reading progress by page.
Close activity
Close the memo and save the results in the session panel for participants to review.
Important
If you replay the memo, previous answers are deleted.
Statistics
View participation, engagement, generated klaxes, and duration of the session.

What Types of Media Can Be Inserted Into a Memo?
You can add:
- Text
- Images and files: JPEG, PNG, PDF, PPT, and XLS
- Video URLs from YouTube, Vimeo, or Dailymotion
- An MP4 file for face-to-face use, such as on Klaxoon Box
- Quiz
- Survey
