If you are the Host of a Klaxoon Session, you have the option to pause it before you even start the event. This feature is useful if you want to share the access link with your attendees upstream, but you don't want them to be able to join the activity right away.

While the Session is paused, participants will see a hold screen (indicating that the Session is "Paused") if they attempt to connect to it, and they will not be able to interact with the content.

 

Follow these simple steps to enable pausing in your Session:

 

In the toolbar at the top right of the screen, click on the "Manage your time" icon (represented by a stopwatch).

A drop-down menu appears. Select the "Pause" option (represented by a cup of coffee).

 

Your Session is now paused. The status will be visible at the top of the screen.

 

If a participant attempts to join the Session via the link while it is paused, they will see a hold screen illustrated by a cup of coffee with the text "Session paused".

 

 

To start your event and allow participants to join the activity, simply click on the "Manage your time" icon again and then on the "Resume" option (the "Pause" option will have been replaced by "Resume"). The Session will open immediately for everyone.
