Host control Mode (often referred to as Sync Mode) has several major benefits to ensure the success of your session:
1 - Concentration and Focus
- Synchronized experience: All participants see the exact same screen and content as you, the facilitator. When you change steps, questions, or work areas, everyone follows along instantly
- Avoid distraction: Participants cannot navigate the Session independently. This prevents the faster ones from "spoiling" the rest and keeps the group's attention on the point you want to make
2 - Mastery of Time and Rhythm
- Rhythm defined: You dictate the rhythm of the Session. This ensures that the time allotted for each activity is respected and that you cover your entire agenda
- Smooth transition: Moving from a work stage (e.g. Brainstorm) to a feedback stage (e.g. Question) is done with a simple click for you and all your participants
3 - Attention Management
- Selective activation: You can choose to open and close access to certain activities (such as Brainstorming) at the exact moment you need them. For example, you open the Brainstorm for 5 minutes of contribution, then you close it to move on to the discussion phase
- Raise your head (optional): This feature, often paired with this mode, allows you to draw the attention of all participants to your screen for a critical explanation before restarting the activity
