TL;DR
Dimensions are extra fields on ideas for details like names, dates, or keywords.
Set them up in Board settings → Sticky notes → Extra fields, then add labels and save. When you edit a sticky note, fill in the dimensions and send it to show them under the idea.

Create an Idea with Dimensions/Extra Fields
Overview
Dimensions help you capture extra details for each idea. They appear as free fields below the idea, so participants can add information like their first name, a date, or a keyword. Facilitators can then use these entries to sort and refine ideas beyond basic categories, for more precise analysis.
How to Create Dimensions/Extra Fields
- Click the caret icon next to the board name 1.
- Select Board settings 2.
- Select Sticky notes 3.

Select Extra fields 4.
- In the Extra fields pop-up, add a label 5.
- Click the + icon to add more labels 6.

Click Save 7.
Create an Idea with Dimensions/Extra Fields

Click Edit sticky note in the conceptual toolbar 1.
- Fill in the extra fields (dimensions) 2.

Click Send sticky note 3.
- You can now see the extra fields (dimensions) in the idea.
