TL;DR
You can add custom sticky note colors to a Board so everyone can use them. Either add one from an idea (create/select a sticky note → Change color → Add a color → pick a color → Add) or from Board settings (Board menu → Board settings → Sticky notes → Colors → Add a color → choose/adjust → Add → Save).

Overview
You can add custom colors to ideas on your Board to keep work visually organized. Once you add a color, everyone on the Board can use it.
Add a Color From an Idea
Open your Board.
In the toolbar, click Sticky note 1.
Choose a color for the sticky note.
- Click on your Board to add the sticky note.
- In the toolbar, click Change color 2.
- In the idea panel, click Add a color 3.
- Choose the color you want.
- Click Add 4 to save it.
Your new color is now available for all participants on this Board.
Add a Color From Board Settings
- Open your Board.
- Click the caret icon next to your Board title 1.
- From the drop-down, click Board settings 2.
- Under Participants permissions, click Sticky notes 3.
- In the menu that appears, click Colors 4.
- In the color panel, click Add a color 5.

In the Add color panel, choose your color.
Note: You can adjust the color’s saturation and lightness before saving.
Click Add 6 to add the color to the sticky note color panel.
Click Save 7.
Your new color is now available for all participants on this Board.
