TL;DR
Klaxoon Dot Voting allows teams to prioritize ideas quickly on a Board. Simply access the Interact and manage time menu to set token limits and launch the vote. Participants click sticky notes to assign tokens, and facilitators can export the final decisions to Excel for a transparent record.

Overview
Dot voting is a quick way to let your team vote on ideas or proposals. Each person gets a set number of tokens and adds them to the ideas they prefer, so you can reach a shared, transparent decision.
Access Dot Voting
- Open your Board.
- Click the Interact and manage time 1 in the upper right-corner of your Board.
- Select Dot Voting 2 under Engage and interact.
Set Up the Session

Set the number of tokens each participant can use 1.
- In the Dot Voting 2 settings, enter a title for your session.

Choose whether participants can see each other’s votes 3.
- Decide if you want to share your view automatically with participants when voting starts 4.
- (Optional) Set a timer to limit the voting session 5.
Run and Manage the Vote

When you’re ready, click Go to launch the vote.

Participants vote by:
- Clicking an idea on the Board.
- Clicking + to add tokens or – to remove them.

A Dot voting in progress indicator appears on the Board and shows each participant how many tokens they have left.
As the facilitator, you can:
- Zoom in on votes to focus on specific areas of the Board.
- Delete all votes with one click.
- Open Settings or show Results for the current vote.
- End dot voting at any time.
View Results
Select Dot Voting, then open the Results tab to see the outcome of current and past sessions.
Export Results

In the Results tab, select the session you want 1.

Click the three-dot 2 menu button in the selected session.
- Click Export 3 to download a detailed voting report in Excel or CSV.
Note: The Excel or CSV export includes all ideas that received at least one vote. This helps you keep a record of the decisions you made while keeping individual votes anonymous.
