Previously, only 300 participants could take part in an activity simultaneously. This limit has now been considerably extended, allowing up to 1000 participants to take part at the same time!
The number of participants connected to an activity differs depending on whether they connect at the same time or at different times.
Synchronous connection:
For participants: when an activity reaches the threshold of 1000 simultaneous participants (all at the same time), a block appears to inform additional participants attempting to join the activity that they will have to do so later.
For animators: information appears in various places when 950 participants are connected simultaneously, to alert them to the risk of some of their participants being temporarily blocked.
Asynchronous connection: the number of participants who can connect to an activity is unlimited!
💡 Please note : This limit does not apply to Sessions, where the maximum number of participants remains 300.
