A new file selection window gives you access to your files hosted on Cloud services such as Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox.

Not only can you access files stored on your device, now you can also import files from your Cloud drive. A connection window will appear giving you access to your files from your preferred Cloud service. This new feature means you can import more documents in fewer clicks!

Files can be added from several Klaxoon activity menus:

- from the Board's "insert" menu, by adding files or images

- within 'Article' and 'Question': found in the insert add media menus

- within Session in the comment or message option: click on the "add media" icon

- on a Klaxoon activity: from the button "add an image" when adding a thumbnail

Imported file types: png, jpeg, jpg

As any files that you import directly from your computer, all file types can be imported into Board. It is also possible to select multiple files.

The only option for adding a thumbnail is to add an image file.

Last but not least, as a Console administrator, you can manage your users' access to these Cloud services. For example, you can disable access; users won't have the option to import files from the Cloud.

This feature has been available to all Klaxoon users since October 12, 2023.

From now on, it's also possible to access your files hosted on Cloud services from your Studio:

  • From the Studio's "File Selector" modal

  • From Klaxoon storage

  • From the Import & Export menu with the "Browse" button

  • From the icon for adding thumbnails to all Studio activities.
