Connectors are powerful tools for organizing and clarifying your ideas on your Board. They allow you to visually link items together, providing a better understanding of links and flows.

1 - Connecting ideas or shapes
To start using a connector, select two items that you want to connect.
Click on the first element and then on one of the white circles that appear in the blue box that surrounds the idea.
A connector will appear that you can stretch to another idea to connect it.
2 - Customize the appearance of the line
Klaxoon offers you several options to adapt the style of your connectors:
Trait Type: Choose between a solid line, dashes or dots to vary the appearance of your link
Thickness: Adjust the thickness of the line to make it more or less visible
Opacity: Change the opacity of the connector to blend it more into your design or make it stand out
Colour: Apply the color of your choice to match your connector with the rest of your Board
3 - Add text on a connector
To add more context to your link, you can add text to it. Simply double-click on the connector, and a text box will appear, allowing you to enter the relevant information.
4 - Change the type and shape of the link
Different types of links are available to adapt to your needs:
Link Type: You can choose between simple links (straight or curved lines) or links with arrows to indicate a direction or cause-and-effect relationship
Link Form: Change the general shape of the connector. For example, you can turn it into a straight line, a gentle curve, or a right angle, depending on the layout of your elements
5 - Moving and deforming connectors
Once created, your connector remains fully modular:
Move: Grasp the connector to reposition it wherever you want it on the Board.
Deform: When you select a connector, anchor points appear. You can drag them to adjust the curvature or length of the link, so you can perfectly fit your arrangement of ideas.
