TL;DR

In Klaxoon, a Mission lets you guide participants through up to 10 activities in a fixed order. Create one from Home > New > Mission, give it a name and optional image, then configure objectives, leaderboard, and theme. Overview

Use a mission to guide participants through a series of activities in a set order. You can add new or existing activities, choose scoring options, and launch the mission when it’s ready.

Before You Start

• You can add up to 10 steps to one mission.
• A mission name can contain up to 80 characters.
• The Mission cover appears on the mission card in Home or in a Network.

Create a Mission

1. In Klaxoon Home, click New 1, then click Mission 2.
2. Enter a name for the mission 3, add an image if needed 4, and click Create 5.
3. In the Settings 6 box, choose the mission settings, and click Save 7:
   • Objectives 8: Add a description participants see at the start of the mission.
   • Leaderboard 9: Turn the points counter and overall leaderboard on or off.
4. In the Theme box, choose the visual theme for your mission.

Add Activities to a Mission

1. In the Storyboard box, click an activity icon 1.
2. Click Create a new activity 2. Click Create a new activity (e.g. Memo).
3. To reuse an existing activity, select it from the add activities screen 3, then click Duplicate and add 4.
4. In the Step settings box, choose the options for the step:
   • Introduction: Add an existing page or create a new one.
   • Points: Set the number of points participants can earn in the step.
   • Replay: Let participants restart a completed step.
   • Required score (Quiz only): Set the score participants need to move to the next step.
   • First try bonus (Quiz only): Give participants 25% extra points if they pass on the first try.
5. Click Save the activity to add it to the mission.

How Scoring Works

• Survey: Participants earn all points by exploring the activity, even if they skip questions.
• Memo: Participants earn all points by exploring the activity, even if they answer a quiz question incorrectly.
• Quiz: The score depends on correct answers. Participants can also earn a 25% first-try bonus.

Launch a Mission

1. When your mission is ready, click Share 1.
2. Choose how you want to share the activity and then click Save and share 2.
