Overview
Go beyond simple sticky notes on your Board. Use Engage and Interact to work with your team in real time or asynchronously:
- Collect feedback: Launch Polls (select up to 20 choices), Yes/No questions, or Ratings (1 5 stars) to quickly see where your team stands.
- Start conversations: Use Open questions to spark discussion, or Storm to build word clouds from everyone’s input.
- Prioritize ideas: Run Challenges to test knowledge, or use Dot voting to choose the best ideas on the Board together.
- Guide the session: Use the Timer and Stopwatch to pace your work, or select Break to pause activity on the Board and refocus attention.
Use Questions on Your Klaxoon Board
Use the built-in Questions tool on your Klaxoon Board to make your sessions more interactive.
To create a specific question type, like a Poll, follow the steps below. You can use the same process for other question types as well.
Steps
- In the upper-right corner of your Board, click Interact and manage time 1.
- From the drop-down, click Poll 2. The Create a question 3 window opens.
- Add your details:
- Enter your question 4
- Select the question type 5
- Add your choices 6
💡If needed, allow participants to select more than one choice for the poll.
- In the Send to 7 field, start typing a name or email to add participants.
- (Optional) Select Hide participants 8 if you don’t want to show participant names.
- When you’re ready, click Send 9 to publish the poll to your participants.
To prioritize ideas, you can use dot voting. Dot voting is a simple, collaborative method that lets each team member vote for the ideas or proposals they find most relevant. Learn more about dot voting in the article How Dot Voting Works.
Track and Manage Time
Use Track and manage time to follow elapsed time, set a timer, or pause participation.
Select Chrono, Timer, or Pause with a single click to manage your time.
