TL;DR
You can let your team open certain links directly inside Klaxoon by adding allowed domains in the Administration Console.
Go to Settings > Integrations > Embeddable websites in Klaxoon, choose the options scope, then add the domain URL (e.g., https://example.com, not a specific page) and click Add.
Participants must refresh their browser for changes to apply. Note that some websites block iFrames and will still open in a new tab. You can also assign additional admins in Klaxoon to help manage these settings.

Overview
You can let your team open certain links directly inside Klaxoon (in an embedded window) instead of in a new browser tab. To do this, you’ll add the domains you want to allow in the Klaxoon administration console.
Access the Klaxoon Administration Console
- Open Klaxoon in your browser.
-
Go to your Administration console 1.
If you’re not sure how to access it, see Klaxoon’s article: Manage my team (Administration console).
Add Allowed Domains From the Organization Tab
-
In the administration console, Click Settings 3.
-
Under Integrations 4 in the sidebar, click Embeddable websites in Klaxoon 5.
- Click on the option in Options scope 6 for which you want to add a domain.
-
In the allowed domains area, enter or paste the URL 7 of the domain you want to add.
- Use only the domain (for example, https://example.com), not a specific page URL.
- Click Add 8.
Important information
Not all sites allow iFrame integration. If a site blocks iFrames, the link won’t display inside the workspace and will need to open in a separate tab or window.
Apply the Settings to Your Team
- Ask participants to refresh their browser after you update the organization settings.
- After the refresh, users in your team can add links from allowed domains on a Board. These links can then open inside the workspace instead of leaving it.
Add More Admins to Manage Domains
If you want another person to help manage allowed domains in the console, you can add them as a user with admin rights in Klaxoon. For detailed steps, see Klaxoon’s article: Add a new user in your Console.
