TL;DR
During a Session, everyone can post public instant messages on the Board. Facilitators can open the messaging pane from the green half-circle icon, view messages, post new ones, delete messages, and turn messaging on or off.
Overview
During a Session, participants and facilitators can post instant messages. These messages appear publicly on the Board.
From the facilitator screen, you can open the messaging pane, delete messages, or turn instant messaging on or off.
Note
Messages posted during a Session are visible to everyone on the Board.
Open the Messaging Pane

On the right side of the facilitator screen, click the green half-circle with three white dots.
- The messaging pane opens.
Use the Messaging Pane
In the messaging pane, you can:
- Open or close the messaging pane.
- View each message’s author, text, elapsed time, and number of hearts.
- Enable or disable instant messaging.
- Delete a message from the Board.
