Hosts can pause a Klaxoon session before it starts to share the link early without letting participants join. Click Manage your time and select Break. To start the session, click the paused status icon and select Resume activity.
Overview
If you’re the host of a Klaxoon session, you can pause the session before the event starts. This lets you share the session link in advance without allowing participants to join or interact with the content right away.
How to Pause a Session
- Open your Klaxoon session.
- In the upper-right corner, click the Manage your time icon 1.
- Select Break 2.
The session is now paused, and the paused status appears at the top of the screen.
What Participants See
If someone opens the session link while the session is paused, they’ll see a hold screen with a Session paused message. They won’t be able to access or interact with the activity.
How to Resume a Session
When you’re ready to start the event:
- Go to the Activity paused pop-up in the upper-right corner.
- Select Resume activity.
The session opens right away, and participants can join the activity.
Note
Set the session to paused before participants join if you want to control when the event starts.
