TL;DR
Launch activities from the Activities screen during a Session. Only one activity can run at a time, and participants can’t use other interactions until you close it. You can also create and launch a new Board during the Session.

Overview
You can launch activities from the facilitator interface during a Session. Activities help participants focus on one interaction at a time and can be started from the Activities screen.
When you create a Session, you can add these activity types:

- You can launch only one activity at a time. To start another activity, close the current one first.
- After you launch an activity, you can’t edit it from the edit menu.
- While an activity is open, participants can’t access other interactions such as Live Questions, Messages, or Notes.
How to Launch an Activity in a Session
- Open the Session dashboard.
- Click Activities 1 to open the activities screen.
- In the Session program section 2, click the activity you want to launch.

Review the activity dashboard, and start the activity.
The activity opens for participants right away.
How to Create a Board During a Session
You can create a Board without going back to the edit menu.
- Open the Session dashboard.
- Click Activities to open the activities screen.
- Under Session program, click + new Board
- Enter a name for the Board.
- Click Create.
The new Board is created and launched right away.
How to Close an Activity
- Open the active activity.
- In the upper-left corner of the presenter screen, next to the activity title, click the X button 1.
- Click Confirm 2 to close the activity.
After you close the activity, you can launch another one.
Tip
- Launch activities in the order you want participants to complete them.
- Close the current activity before starting a new one.
- Create a Board during the Session if you need a quick collaboration space.
