Overview
Use a Storm in a Session to collect ideas, reactions, or quick feedback from participants. If you enable nickname access, people can join fast and respond without signing in with their identity.
You can use a Storm to:
- Break the ice at the start of a meeting.
- Run a quick poll.
- Collect ideas on a topic and show the most popular answers.
How to Create and Share a Storm From a Session
- Open Klaxoon and create a Session.
- Click on the Live questions 1.
- Select the Storm format 2 and click Add 3.
- Add a topic 4, and click Create 5.
- Click the Share button and open the sharing settings for the Session.
- Select Open to users with the link 6 to access and check the nickname option 7.
Note
When you enable nickname, participants can answer without identifying themselves.
- Copy and share the Session link, or share the QR code 8 so participants can join right away.
How to Display the Storm During the Session
After participants join, you can display the Storm live in the Session.
- Click the Activities.
- Click on the storm question to display it to the participants.
Participants join from the shared link or QR code and submit their answers directly in the Session.
After participants submit their answers to the storm question, their responses appear in a cloud.
