TL;DR

To join a Klaxoon session, open the invite link or go to Invitations in the sidebar and click Join. During the session, the facilitator controls the pace, and you can interact by answering questions, posting ideas, using shared tools, chatting, or speaking if enabled. The session interface lets you view content, react with hearts, add messages, access live questions, and take personal notes. After the session ends, you may still be able to review the shared content and contributions.

Overview

If someone invites you to a Klaxoon session, you can join from a link in an email, message, or calendar invite. Once you’re in, you can follow the session live, join activities, and interact with other participants.

Join a Session

1. Click the Invitations 1 in the sidebar.
2. You will see invitation lists 2.
3. Click Join 3 to participate in the session.

Follow the Session Live

Once you join the session, the facilitator controls the flow. You’ll move through the content at the pace they set.

Visual notifications appear when a new step starts.

Interact During a Session

You can take part in the activities the facilitator opens during the session. For example, you can:

• Answer questions.
• Post ideas on a Board.
• Use other Klaxoon tools shared during the session.

You can also join the conversation by:

• Using the discussion area.

Use the Session Interface

Here’s what you can find in a session:

1. Three-dot menu 1
   Open the current item, leave a Comment 2 , or Go back 3 to Klaxoon Home.
2. Session image and objectives
   View the image and goals the facilitator added at the top of the Board 4.
3. Board
   See messages, activities, live questions, and presentation slides in chronological order.
   • Click a message to enlarge it and add a heart.

   • Click an activity to join it while it’s open, or view results after it closes.

     

   • 

4. Number of hearts
   See how many hearts participants added to a message.
5. Activities menu
   Show or hide the activities menu.
6. Message
   Create a new message on the Board. You can add:
   1. Text of up to 140 characters
   2. A drawing with a key of up to 80 characters
   3. A JPG, PNG, or nonanimated GIF with a key of up to 80 characters
7. Live Questions
   Open shortcuts to live questions that are in progress.
8. Notes
   Create a personal note. You can open your notes from the profile photo menu.

After the Session Ends

When the host closes the session, you may still be able to view shared content if it stays available. You can also review your own contributions and other participants’ contributions.
