Overview
Use a stand-alone quiz when you want participants to complete it on their own time. You can check participation and results at any time.
Use the Menu 1
Open the activity menu to manage your quiz.
From here, you can:
- Switch to participant view
- Edit the quiz title or cover image
- Display the quiz on a screen
- Edit the quiz
- Duplicate the quiz
- Create a template from the quiz
- Transfer ownership to another user on your team
- Close the quiz permanently
- Open the related article to add a comment, switch to participant mode, or add the quiz to favorites
- Leave the quiz without closing it
Important
If you close the quiz, participants can no longer answer questions. They can still view the results.
Share Your Quiz 2
Click Share to invite participants and control access.
You can:
- Name the board.
- Choose the access level.
- Invite participants by name, email, network, code, or link.
- Lock the activity to prevent access.
The sharing panel has two parts:
Set Access
Choose how people can join your quiz.
- Restricted: Only invitees and network members have access to the activity.
- Open for Forrester: Author’s team members with link/code have access to the activity.
- Open to users with the link: All users with link/code have access to the activity.
Set Participant Options
You can also choose extra privacy and access settings:
- Hide participant identities
- Require nickname access
Note
If you hide identities, participant names and profile photos won’t appear during the activity or in exports.
Check Statistics 3
Open Statistics to view:
- Participation rate
- Klaxs
- Average progress
- Participant engagement
- Each participant’s status, progress, and results
Manage Participants 4
Use the participant count to view and manage people in the quiz.
You can check:
- Who is online
- Who is absent
- Who is invited
- Who is blocked
View Results 5
Open Results to see performance for each question, including the percentage of correct answers.
Export Results 6
Open the export menu to download results in one of these formats:
- ZIP
- Excel
- CSV
- Klaxoon
Manage Time 7
Use the time controls to run your quiz:
- Stopwatch
- Timer
- Break
If you pause the activity, participants can’t continue the current activity. Their screen shows: Heads up.
