TL;DR
The Quiz dashboard lets you monitor participants live, pause/resume the activity, view progress and results, manage participants, skip waiting for answers, move to the next question, return home, or close the Quiz.
Overview
When you launch a Quiz in a Session, the dashboard shows you participants’ progress in real time. You can use it to manage the activity, control question flow, and view results as participants submit their answers.
Use the Quiz Dashboard
Return to the Homepage
Click Go to Klaxoon home page back to the Klaxoon homepage without closing the Quiz.
Close the Quiz
Click Close current activity to end the Quiz.
Note
You can still view the content and question results on the Meeting Board after you close the activity.
View Question Numbers
In the Quiz, the question number appears as 1, 2, 3, etc.
Manage Time
Use the timer area to track time during the Quiz.
- Click Break to stop activity on participants’ devices.
- Click the Resume activity button to let participants continue.
View Participants
The participants panel shows everyone currently connected to the Quiz. The black bubble shows the total number of participants.
You can also remove a participant from the list if needed.
Important
If you remove a participant, their contributions stay recorded, and they can reconnect later.
Track Participant Progress
Click on participants progress CTA to see the participant’s progress of the quiz.
Open the Progress Breakdown
Use the progress breakdown area to see the list of participants for the current question.
Stop Waiting for Answers
Click Stop waiting to show results before everyone answers.
Note
Use this option if you want to move the Session forward without waiting for the remaining participants.
Move to the Next Question
In Question-by-question mode – Controlled by the facilitator, participants are moved to the results as soon as they answer the question.
Alternatively, the host can click 'Stop Waiting' to advance participants to the results even if they haven't answered.
Otherwise, they’ll see a Try again button.
In the free mode, the Next button will appear even if the participant answers incorrectly.
Note
This button becomes available after every participant answers correctly.
Quiz allows you to ask a question in order to test your knowledge; there is therefore a notion of right or wrong answer.
