The template library lets you start from ready-to-use models to quickly create your Klaxoon activities.
1. Access the template library
You can access the template library from several places, with content that adapts to your context:
-
From the left sidebar menu, click Template library.
→ You see all templates (public and private) for all activity types.
-
From the New menu > Board > Start with a template > Template library
→ The library opens with an automatic filter: only Board templates are displayed.
-
From the toolbar of an existing Board, open the 3-dot (...) menu to access the Templates section.
→ Only Board templates are available, and you can insert them directly into the current Board.
2. Find the right template
In the template library window, you have several options to find the template you need.
Browse by categories
In the left menu, you’ll find in particular:
- All templates: all templates you have access to.
- My templates: only the templates you created.
- Recommended: a selection of templates recommended for you.
- Use cases: public templates organized by use case.
Search and filters
You can also use:
- The search bar to find a template by keyword.
- The Filters icon (only when the library is opened from your Klaxoon account) to filter results by activity type.
3. Use a template
When you hover over a template, two actions are available:
- Preview: opens a preview of the template in a modal, without creating an activity.
- Use: creates an activity based on this template.
The behavior of Use depends on where you opened the library:
- From a Board: the template is inserted into the current Board.
- From your Klaxoon account or the “New” menu: a new activity is created from this template.
Access depending on your plan
-
If you are a Free user:
- You can see and preview all templates (Free and Pro).
- You can only use the templates included in your plan.
- For templates reserved for Pro users, the action button shows Upgrade to Pro instead of Use.
-
If you are a Pro user:
- You can see, preview, and use all templates.
4.Customize and launch your activity
After clicking Use, a creation modal opens:
- You can change the title of the activity.
- You can change the visual (for example, the cover image).
These changes are optional: you can adjust them right away or modify them later.
Once you confirm the modal, your new activity is created and ready to be used and shared.
From a Board, this creation step does not appear, and the template elements are placed directly on the current Board.
