TL;DR

Use shapes on the Board to structure ideas and build unlimited flowcharts. From the toolbar, you can insert and edit shapes - change type, resize, rotate, move points, and set the corner radius. Adjust borders and fill colors or make them transparent, add auto‑resizing text, and visually link ideas with connectors, which use a right-angle style by default.

Overview

Use shapes to structure your ideas on your boards. You can create as many flowcharts as you need - there's no limit.

How to Select a Shape

Shapes are accessible directly from the toolbar by default.

• If visible: Click the Shapes icon directly in your toolbar.
• If not visible: Click the three-dot 2 menu in the toolbar, select Shapes 2, and launch it (or click to pin it back to your toolbar for easy access).
• Access the Shape library 3.

How to Modify a Path

1. Select Edit pen’s line 1.
2. Drag any point of the shape to modify the shape 2.

How to Modify a Color (contour or fill)

1. Select the Update border style 1 icon from the toolbar to change the outline color.
2. Select Update fill color 2 from the toolbar to change the fill color.
3. Make the shape transparent by choosing No fill and No border.
4. Use different combinations of outline and fill colors to distinguish between shapes.

How to Change a Shape

1. Select the Switch shape 1 icon from the tool bar to change shape.

How to Add a Text

1. Double - click inside the shape to add a text.
2. When you add text to a shape, it wraps to fit the shape’s size and overflows if the content exceeds the available space 1.

How to Rotate a Shape

1. Click on the rotate arrow 1 at the lower bottom corner of any shape to rotate it.

How to Connect Shapes

1. To connect shapes, drag from one of the small white anchor dots around the object to another object.

   

2. Alternatively, select the three-dot 1 menu in the toolbar, then select Connector 2.
3. Select the connector to change its link type, line thickness, and line style 3.

Customize Corner Radius

You can adjust the corner radius of most diagram shapes and right-angle connectors.

1. Select a shape or right-angle connector.
2. Use the corner radius control to increase or decrease the radius.

Connector Defaults

• New connectors use the right-angle style by default.
