Use shapes on the New Board to structure ideas and build unlimited flowcharts. From the toolbar, you can insert and edit shapes (change type, resize, rotate, move points), adjust border and fill colors (or make them transparent), add auto‑resizing text, and connect items with connectors to link ideas visually.

Overview

Use shapes to structure your ideas on your boards. You can create as many flowcharts as you need - there's no limit.

How to Select a Shape

1. Click the three-dot menu in the toolbar 1.
2. Select Shapes 2.
3. Access the Shape library 3.

How to Modify a Path

1. Select Edit pen’s line 1.
2. Drag any point of the shape to modify the shape 2.

How to Modify a Color (contour or fill)

1. Select the Update border style 1 icon from the toolbar to change the outline color.
2. Select Update fill color 2 from the toolbar to change the fill color.
3. Make the shape transparent by choosing No fill and No border.
4. Use different combinations of outline and fill colors to distinguish between shapes.

How to Change a Shape

1. Select the Switch shape 1 icon from the tool bar to change shape.

How to Add a Text

1. Double - click inside the shape to add a text.
2. When you add text to a shape, the shape automatically adjusts to fit your content 1.

How to Rotate a Shape

1. Click on the rotate arrow 1 at the lower bottom corner of any shape to rotate it.

How to Connect Ideas

1. Select the three-dot menu from the tool bar 1.
2. Select Connector 2.
3. Double-click on the connector to change link type, line thickness and type 3.
