Single Sign-On (SSO) is a way of logging in that simplifies and secures the customer experience.

1 - What is SSO?

SSO is an authentication mechanism that enables users to access multiple applications using a single login and password. In other words, you no longer need to remember multiple login combinations.

💡 SSO works on any device (browser, iOS and Android app) and the login process is the same on desktop, mobile and Teams

2 - What are the benefits?

SSO enables access to Klaxoon via a dedicated URL: .klaxoon.com or by clicking on "Company login" on the authentication page.

For the company

- Centralization of authentication systems: all connections are made in the same place
- Secure and track access to systems (simplified management of employees' personal data)
- Reinforcement & total control of the login process
- Possibility of applying your own password & authentication policy
- Possibility of immediately blocking access to all systems

For the user

- Single login process to connect to Klaxoon and other cloud systems
- Saves time entering passwords and simplifies access to Klaxoon (SSO enables user recognition if they log in several times in a single day)
- Use of a dedicated URL for faster SSO access to Klaxoon

💡 SSO integration does NOT modify existing user accounts

3 - How do I go about setting it up?

SSO implementation is steered by a CSM (Customer Success Manager), in conjunction with the technical teams.

Technical requirements

Customer SSO must be SAMLv2-compliant. Klaxoon integrates with any SAMLv2-compliant SSO, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure ADFS), Google SSO, oneLogin, Okta and Ping.

Implementation in three stages

1 - Design: sharing of technical and functional constraints, presentation of the solution, discussion of SSO architecture, definition of the scope of intervention.
2 - Technical implementation: definition and realization (setting up connections), integration tests, progress monitoring
3 - Deployment & maintenance: deployment support (remote intervention in the event of problems), maintenance (guarantees functional continuity of integration), updates and follow-up (updating certificates, etc.).
