TL;DR
Sharing a Klaxoon activity lets you invite participants to join and collaborate using different access options. Configure participant visibility and access then share the activity via link, QR code, or direct invitation.
Overview
Activities such as Boards, Sessions, or Memos can be shared with participants so they can join and collaborate. Participants can access an activity by signing in to an account, entering a nickname, or joining anonymously depending on the configured sharing settings.
How to Configure Participant Access
You can control how participants appear when they join an activity.
- Click the Share button on the top right corner of the board 1.
- The participant access configuration opens 2.
Hide Participants' Identities
When participants' identities are hidden, their names and profile photos are not visible during the activity or in exported results. Instead, participants appear with a generic label. Participants can access the activity without identifying themselves when anonymity is enabled.
Ask Participants for a Nickname
If nickname access is enabled, participants can join the activity by entering a name of their choice. Participants do not need to sign in to an account to participate.
How to Share the Activity
After configuring participant access:
- Click Save and share 1.
A sharing window opens where you can manage how the activity is shared.
From this window you can:
- Add people to invite in the corresponding fields.
- Add the activity to a Network.
- Display the QR code.
- Copy the activity link.
Note
Participants can access the activity with the pseudonym of their choice without having to identify themselves
