Overview
Activities and Live Questions both help you collect feedback, ideas, and answers from participants. The main difference is when and how people respond. Use an activity for standalone participation over time, and use a Live Question for instant feedback during a live event.
Use an Activity For Flexible Participation
An activity is content you prepare in advance or create live. Participants can join it on their own, without needing you to launch it at a specific moment.
- You can create an activity from the Klaxoon Home, Session or Network.
- Available activity types include Board, Survey, Quiz, Adventure, Memo, etc.
- An activity can stay open for several days, so participants can respond at their own pace.
- You can then review responses and stats from the activity dashboard.
Example: If you want to test your team’s knowledge before a workshop, create a Quiz activity and share it before the meeting.
Use a Live Question For Real-Time Interaction
A Live Question is a one-time question that you launch during a live meeting, session, or video meeting.
- Live Question formats include Yes/No, Text, Vote, Ranking, Word Cloud and Number.
- Responses appear in real time, so you can review them and react right away. This works well when you want a quick opinion or an instant reaction.
Example: If you want to check how participants feel about an idea during a meeting, launch a Live Vote Question and review the results on the spot.
